District Governor Euan Eddie congratulates our Chairman Ken and Treasurer Roger following their 15 minute presentation of our work at Rotary District Conference 1120 at the Brighton Hilton Metropole Sunday October 25th.
We would like to thank all who helped us and supported us in this great venture as we spoke to some 800 Rotarians including wives for a nerve racking 15 minutes.
Thanks especially to Past Hythe Rotary President John Wren, our current President Derek Hancock, Rotarian John Howard for his “voice over” and to a wonderful 15 year old boy from the Harvey Grammar School Folkestone, Liam Thorpe-Young for putting together the whole technical side of the presentation.
Thank you all the members of The Rotary Club, Hythe Kent
The mission of The Friends of North Kigezi Diocese is to work towards improving lives in one of the most poverty ridden areas of rural Uganda. We do this through projects providing housing for orphans, fresh water supplies to communities and sponsorships to provide basic needs and education for children.
